when i inquired about this hood to other members, these were some of the replies i got:

thanks for the help.

Not a problem. It was $1745 for the hood and to have it crated. They said it would be about another $200 to have it shipped. So all said it done be prepared to spend $2000. It's typical, the hood I like the best is the most expensive.

That hood is nice but it's not the one I'm thinking of. I believe it's the same that was on the mid-years?

Are U looking for the hood that has the 67 scoop on it????
If so there is a guy in Warminster Pa that has it. PM me if that is the hood and I will get info on it,. I am going to purchase it. I saw it on a gray and Red C5 and the owner said the quality was great. Reguired minimum adjustment before painting.
Check out this site www.fiberpartsconcepts.com under Corvette hoods.
Good luck

Go on the site. They have a shipping calculator. The hood itself is 599.00. figure on another 200 for shipping and packing.

Like I said above the one I saw at Carlisle was beautiful and the owner said he had no problem with the installation. Looked Real sharp.
If you e-mail me at onlinesails@yahoo.com, I will send you pictures of the hood/car.

Doug, hey there. That's a pretty nice hood! I am working on those pics for you. I have been ill the last few days and haven't done anything. Some are pretty good. Let me know if you decide to get the hood, it would look great, but you know you can always go with the MCM. Dale
