I use this as my starting point.

If I see a forum "sale" that gets me in the mood to buy an item, I start searching for a better price.

In a couple instances I found the item cheaper and bought it there. Often the forum vendor has the best price, even if it's not a screaming deal, at least I know it would have cost me more elsewhere.

I'd be afraid to calculate all the "sales" I've seen on this forum that have triggered my buying instincts at the forum vendor or elsewhere....

I know I am crazy for starting a new business right now, but I had to make initial choices on the pricing for my prints.

I looked everywhere at different artist's wall prints and they were going for closer to three digits. Believe me I wanted to price my stuff higher but felt that there was NO way anyone would purchase at those prices right now. I priced my stuff in according with the time the best I could.

I personally really appreciate that the members have been so supportive in my new venture. I have not had one person complain about the price or product ( so far knock on wood ).

If there are others that have not been happy with it they have just moved on.

I can tell you that if people are not happy with the pricing of a product it's very clear wether they say anything or not.

When you go to your business account and there have not been any orders, or interest it's a pretty clear indicator

Thanks for the support guys!

Free country. Buyer beware. God bless America.

Just do the research. Period.

Default "Special" Pricing???

I would like to first off say that I truley enjoy this forum as well as the participating vendors, and I have bought from vendors here in the past with wonderful results. It is good to see that we can discuss questionable issues amoungst ourselves and be heard in the proccess.
Just a little frustrated at seeing the same ol prices being advertised as "special pricing". I love all the imput from the forum gurus and regulars. Keep it up!
