Thanks buddy! Hope you had a great holiday I just had to sing praise as Bill seems like a busy guy but never seems to get fussy about the "stupid" questions(speakin for myself).
From the looks of it my suspicions were right on as I am obviously nowhere near the only one whose angst he has
Thanks again Bill
You are by no means in this boat alone. I spent some time talking to Bill over the phone, while he was helping me diagnose an HVAC problem. He sure gives his time freely, and often to everybody who needs help.
I think the C5 is Bills personal form of crack, and he's just getting his "fix" with these fixes.
Thanks again Bill! Merry Christmas!
If Bill had a dollar every time he's helped someone out of a jam, he would be able to pay cash for a ZR1. A thoughful and giving person is as rare as a "hen's tooth". We are lucky.....
Now send your dollars - I get the new vette, he gets the hand-me-downs, as usual!
It doesn't get much better than Bill solving a no start problem, that a Chevy dealer's service team could not, from his desk nearly 15,000 miles away in the Philippines!
Bill, you are a true asset to this Forum!
Thanks for all you do.

Yea I had fun doing that!
I wish you could have taken a picture of the look on that guys face!
It could have been in one of those PRICELESS commercials.
Bill...
I've not had occasion to call on you for troubleshooting advice, but its good to know you are within shouting distance here in CT if trouble strikes. I pay attention to your advice, and as many have said, you are an asset to the forum and those of us less mechanically inclined.

Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
