Creaking??
My '99 creaks whenever I go over speed bumps, pull into the driveway etc. Is more likely to be the shocks or springs? How would I tell? Thanks.

It could just be dry rubber bushings at the mounting points of either of the above.
The upper and lower control arms, as well as the stabilizer bar, also have rubber bushings that may be dry.
Try spraying them all with silicone spray to see if it helps. It's best to remove the wheels to get better access to everything.

One of my cars did the same thing and replacement/lubricating of the bushings did the trick.

Lubricate those sway bar bushings.

Something as trivial as silicone spray, it doesn't really matter. Walk in to the closest Lowes, Wal-Mart, or Autozone and pick up a spray can. It's one of those things that it's basically all the same.

My vert "creaks" , but mine I think is all the plastic interior parts rubbing against each other...Too bad they didn't use a little felt in between some of those parts....

It is probably your sway bar rubber bearings. They must be taken off to lube, lube with dielectric silicone grease.
You can also replace them with polyethene bushings from Ecklers (they come with special grease).

It's probably the sway bar bushings and NOT the shocks or springs.

The silicone spray I have is the store brand from ACE hardware stores.
Just make sure it's silicone, you don't want anything made with petroleum on rubber bushings.

I have yet to find any more, but the best damn can lubricant I've EVER seen was lanolin based. Yes, sheep lanolin.
It was a great penetrant and lasted. Plus, it was just way slick. Amazing stuff.

I know I have noise in my interior from the plastic parts rubbing together?

I heard creaking, or more like a squeaking and thought it was from the outside. But finally narrowed it down to the rocking seat problem that the C5 is known for.
Are you sure it is coming from the outside?

I bought some liquid wrench, sprayed all the bushings I could find and quiet as ever now. The bushings are in fine shape, just needed a little squirt here and there.

Liquid Wrench is not good for rubber.
It has pertoleum distillates in it, which may be harmful to rubber.
As mentioned before, you should use only SILICONE on rubber.
