Hey all,
Had the Vette lowered using the stock bolts the other day. He asked me if I wanted it all the way down and I said yes. The front went down 1/2 to 3/4 and the back down around 1". Question is -- "Is the back too low compared to the front?" Keep in mind I didn't want it slammed.
Also enclosng a pic of the back end with the new Corsas and flushed lights.
Thanks in advance.

I lowered the front just a tad. It doesn't really appear to make a huge noticeable difference. I wouldn't worry about it. My first Vette did the same thing. I didn't have any problems at all. When I had it aligned, it was perfect.
Looks to me like the front needs to be lowered a little more but it looks okay as it sits. Just remember to go get an alignment after putting about 100 miles on it. I didnt get my alignment right away and it chewed my tires all up.
Ooooh alright nice. I thought I was loosing it hahaha.
Was that the most you can go on the stock bolts on the front or could they go lower? ... Jobear
That looks like about it- give or take a millimeter. My Z has the front bolts removed and the back lowered on aftermarket bolts. The back can go lower-- thats it for the front.
Tricep... Niiice!! Yeah I've heard about that, removing the bolts. How does it handle? Doesnt something have to be removed after taking the bolts out. The reason why Im asking is b/c I have the same problem with the front being a tad higher. I bought the car how it's sits the rear has aftermarket bolts. Let me know about how it is with the front removed. Thanks.
Jobear... Alright. Yeah I had the same problem as said up above. You going to keep it that way?
You can cut the front bushings to get lower. The biggest thing to make sure of is that you have the rake right. From front to rear, the rear is supposed to be slightly higher or the handling will suffer. Can't remember the the exact amount off the top of my head but 3/8 of an inch comes to mind. So, let it settle for a couple hundred miles and get it aligned, but definately check the rake.
