Some cars will always look beautiful: the C5 is one of them.

That thing is sweet.

I've seen an early (1953-55) C1 on a C5 and it really looks all out of proportion. This '62 kit is so much nicer looking.

My opinion is no the C5 looks more flowing & I have had people ask me the same thing, Is this the new Corvette??? Mine is a 98 with 22,000 miles.

Dated LOL..I have some people ask if my car is a C6 with a LS2 engine!! LOL..I told them it is a 98 with a lS1 engine. They were shocked!! Heck, the C6 may be the last Corvette if GM doesnt get any help from the Govt soon!! Makes our C5 the more priceless!! LOL

Yes the C4 still looks fresh. My Torch Red 1996 gets tons of looks.
Its sweeter than a 308 Ferrari.

Nope -- but the updated ones with the body-color rub strip and more open wheels look fine. I frequently got comments from folks who thought my '93 was new. The flip-ups are the most dated thing on these and the C5's have 'em too. Not ugly at all -- just not 21st century auto design, which I guess means dated.

You guys need to check out the C4 community some time. Half of 'em seriously hate the C5 (big butt, derivative of the 3rd gen RX-7, etc.) I don't hate any generation, (except maybe the Sharks, boy does that put me in the minority) but who cares. I suppose they're busy ragging on our C5's in the C6 community right now!

The C5 is Star trek and the C6 is the next generation.
The C5 is Beverly Hills Cop and the C6 is Beverly hills cop 2
The C5 is Shrek and the C6 is Shrek 2
The C5 is Saturday Night Fever and the C6 is Stayin' Alive
The C5 is Grease and the C6 is Grease 2
The C5 is.....................You get the picture!
