This close!!!
Coming to work today, before 7 AM, minding my own business when I see some interesting taillights and some very wide tires on the car in front of me. A new M6!! In my little town we don't see those very often either. As I turn off the radio and pull up beside him in the hammer lane he exits, stage right. RATS!

Whoops! I see, I see, no racing threads, but we didn't actually race. You won't get your thread locked for just thinking about it, will you?

You probably would have lost. The C5Z was pretty quick for it's time but some of the newer high end imports are quicker.

I doubt it, 500hp has to carry 4000lbs. 405hp has to carry 3155. Now a new viper is another story, and don't ask how I know that about the new viper!

Maybe would have hung for a bit. The M6 top end is supposed to be just nasty.

mods are minimal, zip-tie w/ K&N, X-pipe, Borlas, and a CrazyChris tune.

You are only quoting peak HP numbers. Peak HP does not win races.

I personally enjoy when someone messes with you on the hwy, and you just stay cool, and let them act like a fool! Them wishing their car looked and sounded like the Z!

With equal drivers, I think that it'd be a good race. Of course, we can race engine specs and dyno sheets all day and get nowhere.
