lowering question
Quick question.....if I drop the car on stock bolts do I HAVE to get an alignment after the car settles, or is it kind of a wait and see...maybe yes/maybe no, kind of situation?

When was the last alignment you had? I would get one either way. Camber will be in a little and front toe will also be off slightly. As your a-arms get closer, and then beyond parallel, these changes will become more drastic with each 1/4"...
Let it settle for a few weeks, then get the alignment!
