Just to share with you guys, this was the first time I have done this in ANY car. Babymomma and I were trying to find a Quiznos to go to since the local one was closed. Well we find another one and the entrance is tricky. So I do the usual turn at an angle, and still no luck. I was not paying to much attention since it normally works with no issue. And then a very breif scrape and to boot, the Quiznos was not open too. Happy New Year!
My Vette is slammed and I have frame savers to protect my rockers and when I go over speed bumps my frame savers hit the bump and they are scatched and my rockers are saved
When i had the verte inspected, the bottom looked bad, big time, having vettes is hard not to scrape, even taking in anyway trying not to scrape, but as long as it doesnt damage any engine parts ,i am OK with it
I've had both frame savers and rocker rails fitted for years. Must admit I often scrape the air dam but its pretty rare to get anywhere near scraping the rockers.

Alex, for the $50 in parts and a half hour install I highly recommend a set of Fat Mamma frame protectors for the front of your Vette. I also bought and like the Elite Engineering rocker protectors. Driveway/speedbump obstacles? Bring 'em on! I'm protected!
