I"m sure this has been discussed before, but I am asking again. I installed LED taillights on my '97 about three years ago, and they worked fine - for a few months. Then, when using turn signals, they began to hyper-flash, but not every time. Now, the hyper-flashing has gotten worse, happens every time, and sometimes the turn signals do not work at all. All front bulbs were replaced as a precaution, as a burned-out bulb in front can create this. Brake lights, running lights, and hazard flashers all function normally.
I don't like the hyper-flashing, but I can live with that. However, when the turn signals are nonfunctional, it's a big problem, and could be dangerous. It doesn't happen every time, but frequently.
I know you guys have solutions, and I'd greatly appreciate a solution to rectify this perplexing problem.
you need to get a LED flasher with bypass harness. its $50.00 and plugs in under the knee panel under the stearing wheel. this will allow you to have all LEDs and not have hyper flash. Do a Search on Hyper flash and you will find directions on how to install.

I'd do the Flasher Bypass Harness.
There is also a fix involving the removal of the Emergency Flasher Module and a minor modification. Labor intensive. It's free but you'll lose the light out warning.
I installed LED tail lights about 6 months ago. I also had occasional hyper flashing issues. I recently broke down and ordered the led flasher harness from richard at corvette enhancements. Installed it, and it works like a charm. Excellent quality on the harness build also. It took about 10 minutes total to install. very very easy.
