Dewitts Dispute SETTLED!!!!

As some of you may or may not know, I recently posted a dispute thread regarding Dewitts Radiators. I won't get into all the details, but suffice to say it goes back almost a year with a unit that, for reasons unknown to both Tom and myself, did not function properly in my vette. A lot of time was put in and parts were replaced. There was a breakdown in communication between all parties in getting it resolved in a timely fashion. So after many months and a back and forth credit card dispute........Tom and I were finally able to connect and talk.
So many of us are very quick to dispute, complain and/or point fingers but not often enough does anyone tell how disputes are settled, and make positive posts about it, often leaving both the member and vendor looking bad.
I wanted to let the members know that Tom stepped up and really did the right thing by me in this situation and I am very appreciative to him for that. It may have taken some time, but he proved that his customer service is one of the best. I'm honestly sorry that the unit didn't work in my car for my application, but his products came very highly recommended by more than just a few members and supporting vendors here on the site. Sometimes things just "happen" and there is still no doubt in my mind that he builds one of the finest products out there for our cars.
So Thank you Tom VERY much for reaching out and getting touch with me and doing right by me. I hope everyone has a chance to take a look at this thread to see that things CAN be settled amicably.
Cheers to you Tom!

Deb

Kudos to Tom Dewitt and to the OP.

I personally think it's best that a note to be added to that thread, so potential customers or anyone dealing with the forum member can see that the dispute was resolved. That'd make everyone happy, right?
