Tried to start this am, battery completly flat no display or anything.
Was working on the car painting etc with the hood up for a couple of hours a day for 4 days without starting the car then ran diagnostics in the the DIC last night, would this be enough to drain the battery or could it be something else?

Unlikely in itself.
What type of battery is it? Is it an AGM or a lead acid? How old is it?
Also, is the car a DD? Do you run short trips that may slowly drain the battery?
If so, it would be worth giving it a good overnight charge to see if you can bring it back to life.
If its an old one maybe best to change it on spec. Most of the latest batteries will do OK
Heres an analysis I posted a while ago. Run down the thread and you'll see the spec you need for the Vette:
Thanks great post, no the car is not a DD the batterys 4 years old 175000 miles. its on charge now it was down to 10% so I think all the lights on in the week and not running the car has flattened it, the last run in the car was only 5 miles as are most of its runs lately.
Thanks
Clive

See how you go after a charge. If it behaves then great. If it shows signs of running down again maybe time for a change. This car is hard on batteries so it's not worth getting stranded. Also you may get a bunch of weird electrical gremlins as it dies.

Thanks for the great advice, its up to 41% now so we will see if it hold the charge, if not new battery time.

Interesting.........never heard the description "flat" applied to a battery before............Usually "dead" is associated with a bad battery, and "flat" to a bad tire............or a girlfriend I had years ago Wonder if the O/P ever got a dead tire?
