Default Halltech Venom installed

Put the Venom on today.

I had 1st bought a Vararam, but I didnt install it and sold it. Then I bought the Halltech and was going to sell it, because I need to save my money for the A&A supercharger I want, but my GF said to just put it on and be happy with it LOL

so I did.

stock vs new

So the new Venom moves the MAF back towards the throttle body versus the air filter?

i did not get any codes, a lot more intake noise with the venom vs stock, easy install but the only thing i did not like about it was that the air bridge hit the hood liner. it is the best looking intake by far

yep the venom moves the maf to the tb, and no codes. It sounds great, and yes it hit my hood liner, but I took care of that and took it off

Contact Jim I think there is a fix for hitting the hood. Did you remove the "Halltech" logo, I thought it was painted on???

Looks just like mine... Easy install and a nice product at a fair price.

Some say it gives the MAF a better reading being closer to the TB with less chance of a lean code being thrown. Some even go so far as to line up the divider in the MAF by rotating it 90 degrees from stock to put it on the same plane as the TB blade. That makes sense to me.
