You can't go wrong witht that one. I've been running one in my car for about a year now. great performance. I mounted mine to the left of my rear vier mirror. I hard wired the chord and it runs up the A-pillar on the passenger door and through the top and out right behind the mirror.
The only time mine really isn't effective is when I come up on an Alabama State Trooper. If I don't see them first, I'm ususally in trouble because they don't constantly run their radars. They flick them on when they see you. I have never passed one with his in steady-on mode. City cops and County deputies are a different story. I can see the from a mile away

They do but they are built in. It has an "eye" in the back that sees behind your car. It is in the unit itself though.
Okay, I see, it was wishful thinking on my part. I want one but hate to stick anything to the windshield, I even keep my Easypass in the console. Guess I'll wait for them to come out with some sort of remote antennas.

I thought I'd hate it too, but I promise it isn't that bad. It is actually kind of nice, because it is so close to your line of sight. You don't have to strain yourself and look away from the road so much to see it.
