Default Small portable air compressor

Does anyone know of a good small portable air compressor that will not blow fuses as I've read that some do? I want this in case of a flat tire when out in the boonies?

The GM oem C5/Z06 compressor should work for you.
SLIME has one available at any AUTOZONE or CHECKER AUTO.
THE TIRE RACK also has one.
Keep in mind that the sealant "goop" from some sources may clog your tire pressure monitoring system sensors. But, if you're out in the boonies with a flat tire, that might be the last of your concerns.
I carry the GM oem sealant, but also carry tools for any occasion, including tire plugs.
By carrying tools with you all the time, you can almost guarantee that you'll never need them...

I have the same philosophy
I have the Z06 kit in the vette and a slime kit in my Silverado LTZ (has pressure sensors). I also carry the plug kit.

I also have a 12 volt light in my collections because this sh*t usually happens at night

I have a Campbell-Hausfield, I picked up at Home Depot, that has a light on it and have never blown a fuse. I have used it several times with no issue.

I carry a Victor Battery Jump Starter with a built in tire pump.
Kills two birds with one stone - I can start the car with a dead battery and pump up a flat tire after a fix.

Seriously, no need to go over board with it. I bought a $10 one from Walmart 5 years ago and it worked fine. I've used it several times to add air in my tires.

Got mine at Home Depot, SKU #401-711, cost about 20 bucks. Very small and works off the lighter/power outlet without blowing fuses.
