Default Need help... (PICS)

Not sure if I should post here or in Tech, but here goes.
Bought a used 02 Z06. I was installing fog lights when I came across these wires and have no ideal where they should go.

Any help would be great.
Looking in from the passenger side fog light area

The red wire has 12v power all the time (key on or off) a ground and a small hose. wires run back to the fuse block.

In this pic the plug to the right is for the horn, and I don't know what the other is for.

Found this connection on the raditor hose, see the yellow end????

Looks like maybe a previous owner had HID's or something of the sort in it maybe??

The one plug snaps into the opening in the bottom of the radiator shroud, it's the outside temp sensor I believe. Not familiar with the others.

The outside temp is working. Everything seems to be working normal, except the air (smog) pump is unplugged.

When I installed my vararam using the cajundude's how-to located Here I found two factory plugs on that side. One being the hood light and the other for the outside temp sensor.

The larger plug(on the left in the pic) is for the under hood light. The smaller one(on the right in the pic) is for the outside temp sensor.
You say the temp sensor is working, but have you actually seen it move/chage temps, and checked it for accuracy?
Look down the passenger side of the radiator, near the bottom, close to the frame rail and you should see if you can see the temp sensor itself. If you look at the second pic posted above by De-vette, you can see that is slightly bullet shaped and where it actually is.
Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, the hood light :o. The last owner removed it. Thanks

Now if anyone could help with the wires and hose in the loom. I thought about pulling fuses until the wire goes dead.

Those wires dont look stock...they could be for anything that takes 12V. Neons, HIDS, aftermarket fog lights...really the list is endless. Pull the wires out if you are not going to connect them to anything, they are a fire/short hazard.

Hose could have been used for a wide range of things too....if it isnt connected to anything take it out as well

Just a hunch but did the previous owner have an aftermarket fan/temp switch. There appears to be an temp sending unit spliced into radiator hose where the yellow plug comes out. The other wires may have been a power source for the solenoid activating the fans.

Guessing I can remove it (temp sending unit)?

Thanks for all the help guys, I've never had a used car with so many surprises. Car only has 10,400 miles on it.

this type of plug is for a thermocouple

that's not stock, the previous owner must have been monitoring the temperature of something in there if you don't have anything it plugs into might as well remove it.

if the previous owner removed equipment and just left wires with power on them sitting inside the car do yourself a favor and finish the job by disconnecting the power or at least securely insulate the ends of those wires (separately) that can cause blown fuses, electrical glitches, or worst a burned out hulk where a beautiful Corvette once stood. just because its only 12V doesn't mean you should take it lightly. insulate and tape off any open connectors or remove the fuses for equipment that is no longer used.
