Finshed the splash guard project. I used rear C6 Z06 splash guards on both front & back. I know they are not everyones cup of tea..but had my rocker panels repainted and didn't want all the rock chips again.
I knew that the C6Z guards would fit the back; this is the first I've heard of them being used on the fronts! I might have to do this; my fenderwell lips are suffering from chipped clearcoat from the constant rock attacks. This would hide that nicely.
Just takes patience. I used a nipper...kind of like a pair of pliers with a blunt head for cutting and a dremel with a sanding wheel on it....Just took the wheels off, masked the painted area around the wheel well and would hold the guard up to the wheel well for fitment...nip a little plastic off and used a dremel to smooth the cuts out and do most of the plastic removal...Just used the adage...you can always take a little more off...but you can't put any back on...
