When I try to turn on the A/C in the vette all that happens is the line light blinks a few times, goes back off, and the A/C never comes on. Anyone know whats up?
I think there are a few reasons why it could do that. Check the owners manual first as I don't think all of the reasons mean problems. I think that it could do this if the system is not fully charged though - I am not sure if this condition would throw a code, but you may want to check for codes too...
Pull the codes, if your not familiar ask we can post procedures.
Was the AC very cold when operating before? My guess is it may not have been super cold and the system is probably low on 135A. I'm just guessing, we need the codes.

I may be waaaaay off here but mine has done that as well. How cold was it outside when you tried to turn the ac on? I remember trying to turn mine on when it was like 20 degrees outside and it would let me (I also have the dual zone climate control) But when it is warmer it lets me. Go figure.

Wthout looking in the manual, I think Srt03 has it right. If it's too cold for the A/C to be used, I think the light will flash.
any codes?
i had a similar prob when i forgot to reinstall the vacuum hose on the back of the intake manifold causing a vacuum leak. Mine would blink then stay on, but not blow.

Mine will do that if the temp outside is cold, If you read the owners manual it is in there.
A/C (Air Conditioning):
This button turns
the air conditioning compressor off or on under most conditions. The light on the A/C button will come on when the compressor is operating in either the automatic or manual mode. The air conditioning does not operate at temperatures below approximately 35F to 40F (2C to 4C). The light on the A/C button will flash if pressed when air conditioning is not available. The air conditioning cools and dehumidifies the air coming into the vehicle. The air conditioning cannot be turned off in defrost and defog, as it helps to remove moisture from
the vehicle. It also helps to keep the windows clear.
