I use a bug and tar remover made by Turtle Wax, it's blue in color. I won't hurt the paint.

I use Zaino Z6 Detail Spray. With a coat of wax on the car, the bugs due come off pretty easy if you get to them in time.

I agree... Keep the car waxed too.
