I just got some cargo covers from a guy parting out his 2000. The side covers are almost 2 inches wider (each side) than 2001 or 2002. I have a 2002 vert where they are intact and compared them. My 2001 Z06 didn't come with them, but those wide one sure don't fit. My 2002 side covers fit right into the 01Z06.

Just a factoid that I for one don't understand

Vert and Z06 trunks are similar in dimensions/layout but differ from the coupe. The 2000 coupe panel cover has the same part number as later model coupes but different from earlier and later model verts.

FYI, the rear trunk in the FRC has a different trim and carpet configuration than the later Z06 version of the FRC.

Ok, with that comment, I now understand. I thought they would all be the same. Especially when my 2002 Vert seems to be the same as my 2001 Z06. Live and learn.

The lower rear tubs are all the same on a FRC, Z06, Vert and Coupe.

The carpet layout is different due to the placement of speakers, etc. GM used a different upper tub for the FRC, Coupe and Verts.

Only the center compartments are compatible, not the side compartments, due to placement of the latches and inner panels, etc ...
