I was just ribbing you abit nothing personal ! I got hazed pretty good for purchasing them in the first place , and I believe that there will be gains regardless of state of tune !

The ones that did the hazing are the ones who've already spent their $1000 - $1600 for headers and are hating this !!

Trust me, you're gonna love them !

No it's not the weather, it's the state you live in! Just kidding, I'm originally from Memphis, TN but live in California now for the past 5 years. I'll never move back to the south, this Cali weather just spoils you!

We have family in Cali. It is beautiful there and you don't need AC at night either !

But the cost of buying a house there is REDICULOUS !!

Not since the housing bust, they are worth half than what they were a few years ago, it's a buyers market!

Thats absolutely false. I had the choice twice now. I had an 02Z06 that I sold last May and chose LG's. I have another now and chose a quality used set over a new inferior made in China set. I paid $750. for the headers, X pipe and cats. Given the choice and chance, I will always buy a product made in America. Furthermore, I would do it again even if the OBX headers went down to $200.

So if I have read all this right, one would need 2 extensions for the front o2 sensors (~$20 each)and 2 o2 simulators for the rear 02 sensors(~$40 each)?

Yes and No, you'd only "possibly" need extensions for the rear O2's to be relocated to the front location and then have your rear O2's tuned out.

Depending on how you'd want to do this.

Nope.

At a local speed shop here "a tune" consists of:

3 dyno tune pulls and street driving tune to recalibrate your computer for the added mods you've done.

Mine will be going in next month for my added mods, headers, CAI, Ported/Polished TB and G5X3 cam.

Tune will cost me $400 bucks.

Ok, so the rear o2 sensors are commonly relocated to the front? (I've read that before)Then wouldn't it be the front ones that are tuned out or o2 simulators used on them?

It's actually pretty easy. You see they are inferior because HE said they are. Plain and simple.

No, no, no...... the rear O2 sensors are moved to the front position. Meaning you install the rear O2's in the front positions and plug them into the front connectors. And then have the rear O2 banks tuned out.

Get it, got it.... good !

Ok now I got it!

Just need someone to hold my hand on occasion. I was just thinking o2 sims could be used in the rear connectors to put the tune off for a while.
