Can I jump start with another car? Do I need to buy an electric(plug in) jump starter? I know is has a smaller battery and did not want to overcharge/overload? Thanks.
Shouldn't be a problem jumping a C5 with another car. Even a foreign car will work, although not recommended.
Will the computer memory be gone? Will it stay charged or do I need to measure the battery before parking somewhere else? Will it fully recharge from a battery tender over a time period? Thanks.

You will have no problems. I've jumped mine a few times after I opened and closed my door too many times when doing mods. I don't know about the rest of the C5s, but mine is sensitive!

If your battery is too weak to start your car, then yes, before you take your car anywhere but home, you must fully charge the battery with a battery charger - NOT a battery tender. That is for maintaining a full charge, only. Driving your car when the battery is weak is not good because it forces your alternator to work overtime. Either buy an automatic battery charger or take your battery to an auto parts store to have them charge/check it.

One more question. Once I jump it and if later in the day if it does start on it's own, is it safe to assume the battery is fully charged, or should I have it checked out, so as to not overwork the alternator? Thanks alot guys.
One more question. The manual tells me I need a negative ground system. Can I ground it to any other metal on the car or should I hook up the negative to some place special? Thanks.

No, this is no indication that the battery is fully charged. You should have it charged if you don't have a charger.
