Problem getting Blackwing filter off
When I bought my car the previous owner already had a blackwing air filter installed. It's been a couple years so I decided it was probably a good idea to clean it out.
I got a cleaning kit, looked around to find out how to remove it..no problem. I got the air bridge removed and the filter out. I can't seem to get the MAF off the filter. I assume that I should just be able to remove the ring and work it off there, but it feels like someone superglued the thing together. Am I missing something here?

It is generally a very tight fit. Try rotating and rocking it. It will come off.
