It was a DD in Vegas but since I brought it back to UK it now comes out on nice days and at the weekend. Its cheap to insure (about $450 a year for a limited mileage policy) but with gas at $6 a gallon its not the most efficient commuter as my round trip to work is 50 miles a day.
Drive mine every day except Friday, apx 15 mi to work and back (but I usually take the "long" way).
Fridays I take the'62 Bug,because I go visit my 85 yr old Mom after work, and the Vette just can't negotiate her steep driveway.
DD every day, 93K miles young and drive in the rain as well.............. new radiator, water pump, clutch.......... have a rocking seat (good for the seat of the pants feel).......
Weekends for the most part. So far that is, I just got it in Jan. of 09.
If I was not so paranoid about parking lot dings and worse I would drive it more often. I know it is "just a car" but it took a long time to get it and I want it to last a long, long time.
