I believe there are two versions of the Delco Mongoose package. The one I am familiar with is a package developed by Jake Delaney of Covette Concepts in Sarasota, Florida. It basically consists of a forced air intake, aftermarket catback system, ported & polished throttle body, throttle body by-pass, 160 degree thermostat, iridium plugs and 8.5 mm MSD wires. I believe that is it. I had that package for almost five years before I had Extreme Motorsports add headers, x-pipe and hi-flow cats to it.

all of the mods you mentioned above i did to my car with the exception of the wires and the themostat. should I change those as well?

Personally, I would change the thermostat but the wires probably won't be a big deal one way or the other. My tuner just recommended it so I figured I went this far, may as well change the wires too.
