Engine Squeak
For some reason my 01's engine will have an occasional squeak while its running. It only seems to do this about once a month or so but its very annoying specially considering the car. Is this an indication of something wearing out? A pully bearing or a harmonic balancer or something?

My '99 did that and it got worse and worse. Sounded like a bunch of crickets under the hood - people would stare.
I replace the harmonic balancer (didn't fix it), the serpentine belt (no joy) and the belt tensioner (bingo).
When it happens try getting a squirt bottle of water and squirt a little here and there until the sound disappears - that is a cheaper way to figure out where and what it is.
