when you get the vette back from the shop and everything now works. I'm the guy that just bought his first vette in February and was told that his horn didn't work because it was probably a fuse. Wrong .. how about the previous owner punched the horn so hard it broke the membrane. And lets not forget the steering column lock fiasco. I elected after several conversations and Jack on the rocks that I shouldn't tackle either of these repairs. I took it to Eismanns Corvette Center in Jupiter and they installed my purchased CLB from Corvettes of Houston, and also offered to do the repair to the membrane until they found it trashed. Offered to sell me a new horn and airbag assy that was removed from a car that was to be used for track racing at a quarter of what the dealer was to charge. Long story short; I've got my baby in A-1 shape, I've found a repair shop that I trust. Thats a good thing. Thats for everybody's input and be sure and wave if you see me on the road.

It's best to leave things up to the experts. Doing it yourself can sometimes cost you WAY too much to get fixed.
Do yourself a favor and make that shop one of your regular haunts. It never hurts to make good friends in all the RIGHT places.
Eismanns Corvette is a great place i bring my vette there for all the work it needs. Glad to here you got your vette fixed i also know a great body shop if you ever need one.

They treated me like I was their only customer. I was so frustrated with not knowing what was required to fix it and they didn't rape me on the repair. My family car just got it's back bumper severely scratched in a parking lot on the west coast last week end, its plastic, can your guy help me? Thanks Are you in the Stuart Corvette Club?
