newbie corvette question
The front spoiler on the c5s, how important is it to have it. I just see so many corvettes with them damaged and mine is starting to sag. Will it affect the way the car drives or handles if i remove it, or trim it back.

actually it helps direct the air across the radiator, to help cool the engine. Corvette's have used a front spoiler for this purpose all the way back to the C3's

you can pick up a new one and switch it out pretty easily.

It's a consumable, just like brake pads or tires. When it's too worn down replace it.

Definitely makes a difference. Dropped from about 228 - 230 degrees down to 212 after I installed the center piece that mine was missing.

You dont have to have the side ones. But its a must for the center one. Mine tore off onetime and my temp went way up without it

You can buy pieces to stifin-up the side parts. I have them and they are great. The side spoilers snug right up to the body. Mid-America sells them.
