I've gotten plenty of waves and nice jestures from other cars. I've gotten a wave or quick "hi" from Porsches, Imports, camaros etc. Just a love for fast, nice cars in general.
I just sold my 04 Viper, i waved at people with cobras vettes hell even some evos. There are alot of nice cars out there other then vettes. Im back in a 04 z06 now and love it but i appreciate all cars.
Maybe he owns or did own a Corvette too. I think there are quite a few people here that have or have owned Vipers. I wave to all corvettes but might do a head nod or something for other cool cars I roll up next to. If it's an older person (I'm 28) in a hot rod or something really nice I might give a thumbs up to.
Here's one, The day I purchased my 99 vette, the owner and I met at the DMV to do the paper work. He told me how wonderful the vette was and that I would get chicks waving to me while driving. I said, Oh yea, that's great. As we headed out to the vette he called his wife to meet us at the DMV with the vette car cover and key fob that he forgot to bring (he didn't tell me he had just called her). So as we were walking to the vette, a beautiful woman waved at me while Ken and I were walking, I turn to Ken and said, " Dam, I'm not even driving the vette and womem are all ready waving" so I waved back. Ken turned to me and said, "Sorry, that's my wife, and she was waving to me'. I should of gave the car back and went out a bought a Saturn... It was funny, I guess you had to be there.

There's a thread about trading a Vette for a Saturn........ don't go there.
I wave a Vipers all the time.
Sometimes i even let em hang out in the garage.
That car looks familiar. Funny, the passenger isn't waving!
Also wanted to point out that there were no '07 Vipers made due to retooling of the assembly line for the '08's.
And the statement made about the Vipers looking like C6's should be the other way around. Dodge released the SRT Viper in '03 while the "look-alike" was released in '05.
in the last week or so i've been seeing alot of old iconic muscle cars and they've all given the wave and a nod.
awesome thing was when i pulled up to a stop light and a c6z was to my left. C6's whiff did the, "honey look!" Then both were lookin over at my c5z, the dude nodded and had a big smirk on his face. We both cruised that next block as i turned off...
It's not always a Viper or Vette thing,or whatever car for that matter. It's a car thing. I've had wave's from people in Astons,Porches,Lambo's,Ferraris,Mustangs ,Camaros and everything else. It's a good feeling either way.
Maybe the others have waved my way, but never, repeat, never a mustang
