Viper wave?
I was driving through town this afternoon and off in the distance I could see a Black Viper ( about a 2007 ) heading in my direction. Waiting to see him laugh at me or something, he completely suprised me and gave me an honest and sincere wave just like a fellow Vette owner would! Maybe I judged Viper owners in my town wrong!
Does anyone else get waves from the Snakes?

I just sold my 04 Viper, i waved at people with cobras vettes hell even some evos. There are alot of nice cars out there other then vettes. Im back in a 04 z06 now and love it but i appreciate all cars.

It's not always a Viper or Vette thing,or whatever car for that matter. It's a car thing. I've had wave's from people in Astons,Porches,Lambo's,Ferraris,Mustangs ,Camaros and everything else. It's a good feeling either way.

Unless you are racing for pink slips, I find that I wave....and get one back...from most all drivers of other "performance" cars. It's not always about the marque, it's about the desire, skill, and passion for driving something that scares the crap out of the average driver.....when driven correctly mind you.

I was downshifting for a red light on the highway and passed a city dump truck. He ended up right next to me at the lights and started a conversation (I had the top off). He really liked the sound of the SLP's during my downshifting and had to comment. He was a car guy showing some love. Of course I had to let him hear how the SLP's sounded during the upshifts. lol.

I love that perspective and positive attitude. I'm a car guy, and although Vettes are what I buy, there are a lot of other really nice cars out there on the road that enjoy seeing as well. Had nice short chat with a Ferrari driver at a stoplight about a week ago.

i wave at almost all performance cars, and most return a wave. About a year ago a Lambo went by me going in the other direction and we waved, then next thing i knew he was behind me at the next stop light. i pulled into a parking lot and talked a little bit, and then asked if he go for a ride in my vette. Of course i let him, but i got to ride in the Lambo to.
