One thing you should think of. When the 64 Corvette came out many 63 owners elected to cut out their split rear window and install the better single piece design. The split is only popular now because of collectibility. They are still a pain to drive due to limited rear vision.

Plus, there are some real whacky state laws on any kind of obstruction in the rear window. I read a story about a local woman who got a ticket because she had a bunch of small stuffed animals lined up in her back window.
Might just be enough of a stupid reason to get pulled over.

I have the part that Mid America & Eckler's sells. Some like it and some do not. Same with my stripes.
