Default Blinker Relay

Hey guys,
I own a 2001 Conv. and I just started noticing that it has a problem with the blinkers.

I was on vacation the past couple days and in total since I bought it I havnt driven it much...yet

I was on the Highway today and I decided to switch lanes, flipped the blinker, nothing. Flipped it on again, no blinker. Hmmm thats odd.

I remember the old owner telling me about a problem like this and he said to press and depress the hazard flashers and it would be fixed so I did and abracadabra.

How do I fix this?

I sounds like you'll have to replace the flasher, which I think is built into the hazard switch. Or if you're looking for an easy way out (but it will only fix your turn siginals), you can install one of those bypass harnesses that they sell to cure hyper-flash caused by installing LED's in place of the stock incandescent bulbs.

with ljthe2nd that its your hazard switch thats on the blink - or NOT Those are good instructions from Stickman81

You can replace the switch as described or fit the bypass kit

There's even a thread showing how to make a DIY bypass:
