So you only look at the outside of the car? Those >73 motors weren't much to look at, while performing like turds. Just thought it should be noted, if that's alright with you.
Not only that, but your post didn't even answer the OP's question. Nice reply.
ok, now don't go having a heart attack on me. my favorite is the c3s, c2s, c6, c1s, then c4s. I was just pointing out that performance was not part of the question that was asked. As far as whats all right with me, I really don't care what anyone elses thoughts are, so what ever you think is just fine with me. So relax a little. take a deep breath, and try to go to your happy place (im guessing the place with all the shots in you avatar??)
I'm torn between the 1996 Collectors Edition with the LT4 and any C5 that is black or torch red. Well maybe the last year of the first ZR1. No, the current ZR1. Well, the new 2010 Gran Sport looks great.
Oh crap, who cares if it is a Corvette, it is my favorite. No wait! The fourth generation Viper is hot!!!
I love them all, alway have. But, when they took the guts (NO POWER)out of them from '74 to '82's I lost interest in new ones coming out.
'67 is definately my favorite probably because it was my first ride in one when I was 13. Guy did fishtailing burnouts!
I almost creamed over the pictures of the '68 in the drug store magazine when it came out.
I loved the '84 when it came out.
Went looking for a 96' or so a couple of years ago but ended up with the 2000. I didn't think I'd be able to aford one that new. To me, and it's not because I can't afford a C6, which I can't, but it's the better looking of the two. I would like some of the refinements of the 6 though.

If you didn't care, then you wouldn't have needlessly opened your pie hole. I am also quite relaxed, I was just trying to help you see how trivial you were being. Lastly, those are beers in the avatar, and not gigantic shots.
I have owned 4 of the 6 generation, and I loved all of them. Each has its own style. I cannot think of any one generation that is better then another. Styles change over time, and that is what we look for with each new generation. When the C6 first hit the streets, I must admit I did not like the looks of them. The looked (IMO) like a Viper. But it was not long before I changed my mine. I went to Sebring and saw the Corvette Racing C6R, and that was it for me. I love my C5, but if a good deal came along I might be tempted to move up to a C6.
If I had to select of the generations I have owned, it would be C5, C2, C3 and C4 in that order.

oh, so you are helpin me, I guess I should thank you for your wisdom. Also, for a guy who is really relaxed you seem to be getting fairly irritated, huh? Honestly, I was no trying to insult you, just pointing out the fact of the matter. I don't care if you like C3s or Hondas. I don't care if you drive a prius. In all honesty, I don't care if you get short tempered about it. You like the chrome bumpers better, that is cool with me. Question was not of engine horsepower, that is all I said. You came back being coy and insulting. And, I have already wasted more time than this is worth so enjoy your petty self and have a wonderful day!!
^ Whatever. If you want to avoid this sort of banter in the future, then next time don't chime in if you don't care. I certainly didn't ask you to be a "what is, and what is not on topic ****" on my behalf. It's not the first time someone went off tangent a bit, to elaborate on some facts. I am neither short tempered nor am I being insulting or petty. It's just that when I have an annoying fly buzzing around me, I like to swat it away. I'll be damned if it doesn't just keep coming back though . . .
I've noticed that there are a lot of differing opinions when it comes to the best looking corvette generations...but it's almost unanimously decided that the C4 is the ugliest..

Certainly looks that way. Although I'd take a C4 ZR1 over a pre 58 C1 any day of the week.

In my opinion, they don't even look "Corvette." They don't even look like they'd be expensive cars. They are "boxy" and too conservatively styled, they are like a C5 built out of flat panels of cardboard.

Too angular in design, lacking the balance of sexy curves that had always defined a Corvette.
Electronic instrumentation in some really date the car even further. Let's face it, the 70's and 80's were generally a bad time ifor American auto design in general, with few exceptions.

have to ask what u drive since in ur opinion c-4's and c-5's are built out of flat panels of cardboard?

You apparently read my post incorrectly.
I said nothing of the C5. In fact, the C5 is by far my favorite. I said, for clarifications sake, that the C4 looks like a C5 that was built out of flat panels of cardboard.
If I gave you the task of building a C5 replica out of flat panels of cardboard, you'd end up with something resembling a C4.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
