Borla Quad Oval tips vs. Round tips
Which look better? Could you please post pics (round or oval) so I can compare? Also, how does the quality hold up? I know they are stainless, but the pipes don't look like they're polished. Do they get discolored at all from the heat?

I chose the dual round tips four ears ago so I can't help you with pics of the quad round vs oval but I can tell you they still look good.
Personnaly I like the look of two pipes vs four but either way you will be happy with Borla

I can send you some pics of my old 2000 vert with 2 tip borla's. I cant' stand it when the tip's don't line up, and I had seen too many 4 tip set ups that were uneven. That's why I went with the 2 tip system. Plus I didn't want to hide my enhancer plate behind 4 tips. I felt the quality was very good on the borla's the tip's are polished and they sound good too.

This is what I was thinking... although the rounds look nice too.. I think I might want the ovals to match the taillights. It's hard to find pics of the oval tips.. anyone??

Either way, you win!
From an engineering point-of-view, round is the logical choice, since everything from the engine to the tips is round. However, aestetically, oval is best, since they match the tail lights, nicely. I almost bought the ovals for that reason but the engineering side of me prevailed, so quad round it is.
Either way, you will LOVE the Borla sound - closer to the 60s rumble than anything else I've heard.

Love my Borla's. I prefer the quad round. Fills the back up nice. Haven't had any discoloration but you know me and being the clean freak to show I am... I polish the mufflers all the time in case a judge might crawl down to look.
