Seat Foam

So I am getting closer to ordering new seat covers and I keep debating replacing both seat foams. I know drivers side for sure,but the passenger side still looks and feels new(except for the cover where I spilled isopropyl alcohol and it sat for hours without my knowledge). So have any of you just replaced driverside? If so how were the result?

I just did my seats and only replaced the drivers side. Have 26k on the car but the passenger foam was like new. The skins fit just as well on both seats.

I look at it this way, The car is so many years old and so is the foam and for just a few bucks more why not replace both seat foam? It would be a shame to have to remove the seat to do it again. Just my thoughts.

I ordered new foams for both from Fitchner....not sure which vendor Fichtner or Gene Culley has the best deal right now but I am pretty sure either would price match.

I got new seat covers from DJ Motorsports.

Take my advice and get help installing new covers....its just easier and your hands will thank you

Put a piece of carpet remnant over the wires before reinstalling bottom foam.

Haha,thanks for the advice Pewter. I'll see if I can't find some help.

As for the Vette Essentials manual,man that thing is rediculous. Extensive and accurate,but rediculous.
