Yes. Love my Kooks - the additional power and the sound.

As per Corvette Magazine a few months ago: if you are not upgrading heads, cam intake, headers won't provide enough of an increase in power to justify the cost. However, when you do the other upgrades, you won't realize the maximum gains without headers, and a good free flow exhaust. So I guess the answer depends on other mods and upgrades.

I am going to go out on a limb and subject myself to another bashing thread..........I realize I am taking on a magazine here as well

BUT,let me just say this. Personally, I know of one guy imparticular with only LG pro LT's,catback,an intake( not sure which one) and a good solid tune putting down 396 rwhp and gobs of TQ with his otherwise stock Z.

Now,if the average Z puts 350 -360 rwhp down, that is a pretty impressive result. NO?

So, I say even without MAJOR mods(heads/cam .etc.) they can be worth the buck

Flame suit on....

I bought the full LG street setup with x pipe, removable cats and also have borla stingers. The headers with a dyno tune added a strong boost in power, and make my car sound awesome. Also, under normal driving, not too loud, WOT, the car screams! You'll love'em. Definetaly worth it

No flaming here! I totally agree. A friend of mine has a coupe and put 35Xrwhp down with CAI, headers, catback, and a tune. Thats over 400 at the crank!
