I would like to know if anyone has used one of the air deflectors that they sell to keep the wind down when driving the vette?I have a coupe and i just wonder if it works well before i spend $200 dollars to buy one.Thanks.....Charlene

Reason: spelled word wrong
I just bought one, the solid, clear model. It doesn't seem to make much difference above 45mph and is, perhaps, even questionable at slower speeds. I'd probably not spend the $400 again! Ron
PS: It does look cool though as I bought the one with the torch red color matched frame!

A friend of mine had a "Windjammer" for sale, so I thought I'd give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the mounting method didn't appear to be very sturdy. It had a thin metal clip that bolted to the roof mounting tabs. Tried to mount it anyway, and just didn't feel comfortable with the mounting system. Returned it.

Are you talking about the deflectors that go on top of the windshield, intended for coupes when the T-top is off, or the deflectors that go over the seat tops for convertibles with the top down?
I'm curious about the deflectors for coupes myself.

The op is asking about a COUPE. Check for the hatch clips.
