I drove home my new z06 with 19 miles on it last week.
The rotors were very rusty but the dealer said as i drive it the rust would go away. There was no noise on the drive home. The following day the brakes started to squeak while driving under 3mph and when i applied the brakes. It sounds like its comming from the passenger front wheel.
I now have 250 miles on the car and discovered that the squeak only happens in the morning on the way to work. Later in the dat the squek is gone. Any suggestions??
You need to put some miles on it and drive it hard to bed in the rotors/pads. Take it to a nice 150 mph a few times and slow it down that will refresh the system for you and the car.
This is a brake pad bedding procedure from Stoptech. Just follow what they say since you could consider your pads/rotors new. Then see how it works a day or so after.
Mine does the same thing sometimes. My fix is to get rollin 100+ and give the brake pedal some decent pressure once or twice. I'm sure the other suggestions will work just as well though.
