I've got two bird bombs on my wife's Lexus that I've worked my butt off to try and get out for months. I'm up to Mequire's #4 with a heavy duty cutting pad and the damn things just laugh at me.
I've never done the wet sand (successfully - I did give it a try on my baby's bumper and got an $800 repaint bill for my trouble) and I'm scared to death I'm going to go through the clear coat.
Got any suggestions?
Oh, BTW, these bird bombs were there when we bought the car last November. I have no idea how long they've been there, but it's been some time.
