I spent some time yesterday fixing one of the headlight gears on my 99 C5. One of the steps in doing this was to disengage the negative going to the battery. All went great and I replaced the gear and put back together; headlight working perfect. Now though, I've got another problem. For some reason, the air conditioner is blowing ice cold air out of both passenger vents and at the same time warm to hot air out of the two driver side vents. I've never had this happen before....Any thoughts or help would be more than appreciated???

Thank you!
First question: What codes are you throwing for the HVAC. Check those first. Sounds like an actuator not opening up on the driver side.
Thank you both for your responses, there weren't any codes being thrown off for some reason; but I lucked into the temporary/ hopefully permanent fix. I just got back in from pulling the negative on the battery twice and the 2nd time it worked! TX heat w/out the A/C was about to be a prob.
