Hi I put one in the console and wired it to the power port, and on another car I put it in the ashtray and wired it to the non constant power port. There are many places you can put one.
Good Luck

I saw a post where the guy popped the vanity mirror off and then glued it back down using hot glue. It worked for me. I'll see if I can locate it.
Sorry, can't find it.

Mine cost $4.00 to sew at an upholstery shop.

Well I went ahead and did the visor install.......now it is at a local shop to sew up. Left the passenger visor as well so they could match the stitching.
Fingers crossed

Did you test it first? The wires are opposite of what they look like they should be.

Yep, three times......it worked.
My visor had red and white wires to the lamps. Strange as the red was the ground, white was the HOT........go figure.

It's actually orange. That's what I was talking about. Lots of guy have had to rip them open to re-wire as they did not test first

Mine was red, just as red as my TR coupe.
Either way, it was pretty weird wiring code.

Picked up the visor for the shop. They did a pretty good job, not perfect, but acceptable.
The HL works fine.
Thanks for all the offers to help and info shared,
