thanks for all the help guys, ill be sure to let yall know how it goes, and my time slips and such, i bought my z06 wrecked and im a auto collision tech so i just got finished restoring it, i will be running it this friday at capital raceway and hoplfully ill get at least 12s, i consider myself a decent driver, didnt mean to start a header war lol........ and thanks for the info on the shop jack.
What brand of gears and hardened shafts should we be looking at?
I used Motive Gears. I purchased one hardened shaft from ECS and I cannot remember where Tommy obtained the other one. Usually the Driver's side goes but I saw two passenger side breaks so I opted to replace both while Tommy of AMR was down there.

No war. I hope that everyone's input was helpful. Good luck and tell us how you do.
Where in this list does it specify brand of header?
These will be my final comments on headers in this thread. I will only clarify what the list is and who that I know is running the ARHs.
1) The purpose of the list is to consolidate data to answer the question, “What kind of quarter-mile times do these Z06s run?”. Ranger. The list is to aid fellow Corvette owners on the performance gains within each category. The drivers and administrators of the list can share the information in a limited format.
2) I elected to share my header and CAI manufacturer on the fast list. Other posts and PMs on the same run contained info in much greater detail so each reader could take from it whatever they needed. As for Robz, he shared info more generically on the fast list. His other posts, PMs, and GMHTP magazine article were again more explicit. Other drivers choose to display different info such as tire manufacturers or certain cams.
I believe that we are all here to assist fellow Corvette owners reach their goals.
hey im new to the site and i just bought a 04 z06, i need to beat my friends 04 svt cobra runnin 11.50s.. i got about $5,000 to blow on perfromance mods. with forced induction not in the picture what do you guys think i should do??
I would personally do an CAI, headers, x pipe, a 150 shot of nitrous, tune, and DR's. I ran an 11.2 in my z with a CAI, ported TB, DR's, AR 1 3/4 headers, UD pulley, a big cam, and a tune. If you are strictly worried about beating your friends cobra I would do the above nitrous setup. A couple 1/10ths is not enough comfort zone for me since one small driving error will have you seeing COBRA on his rear bumper. With the nitrous setup you would make more power and when you don't need it the car will have better drivability. This is all strictly my opinion and I realize there are different ways to go about what you are trying to accomplish.
