Will these tires fit? Need answer quick!
Hey guys,
I found some rims and tires from a guy and I need to know if they would fit a 2000 FRC. They are West Coast Corvette rims sizes 18x8.5 in the front and 19x11 in the rear. They are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires sizes 245/40z/r18 in front and 295/30z/r19 in the rear. They are 3.5 years old and tires have about 2000 miles on them the guy said.
Any ideas what these rims/tires are worth?
Also anyone know anything about these rims? Are they good/bad?
Any input helps!
Thanks,
Kevin

Tires will fit nicely. Providing the wheels are the right offset.

Go to their website and have a look. You can even see them on your color car.

that as long as the offset on the wheels are correct, there shouldn't be any problems with that setup working on your car.

What is cost of wheels new? The tires being 5 years old are not worth too much. Figure out what new wheels would cost and make an offer for wheels/tires 10-20% less than new wheels. If he's already below that amount, and wheels are perfect, he's probably priced about right!

Not much. 3 1/2 year old tires are just about shot. mileage has nothing to do with tire life of a sports performance tire. But age does.
Offer him 10 cents on the dollar, and settle on 30 cents on the dollar, or 30% of new
