I've had always loved vettes but had never owned one...when the C5 first appeared in 97 I decided that I would eventuelly buy one...Then in 2000 the MY colour was available I just had to have it...IMO its the best colour, not to mention the fastest...lol...
I like blue and red, However I knew that when i purchased my c5 it would be Yellow. I love the color, Love the car! It was well worth the effort to find one! Do not settle!

That's a hard call for me We've had 3 C5's. 2 FRC's (red, then black) and now a 01 yellow coupe with every option except auto trans (HAD to have 6 speed ) I really REALLY loved the black FRC (blacked out) but the yellow gets almost as many compliments. However, its my wife's daily driver so I don't know if that helps ya out but I drive it whenever I get a chance.
*EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention, the yellow ones seem to sell for a little more than a regular C5
I didn't plan on buying MY when I was looking, but the deal was right. Its sort of grown on me over the last few years. Will defineatley attract the attention of the LEOs. Don't ask me how I know. Good luck with your purchase.
Then call me a girl, I love my Millinium Yellow as mater of fact after owning it for the last7 years I have come to realize that the Vette and I have the same personality, we both are laud, I some times call my car a Billboard you cant miss it.
So if a cop is looking he will see Yell00w coming down the road if he is sleeping I'm sure to wake him up with my Borlas. so hats off to yellow I don't see myself driving another vette that isn't Yellow. It' my personality
Best Color.
When I went out to look for a vette I looked at MY knowing I would never buy that color. Saw the car and bought it right there and have been happy ever since!
Just show her the Corvette race cars or the guys that race them. She'll understand. As a woman MY owner, I was concerned that it was way too macho. I mean, you've gotta have a lotta confidence streaking around in a yellow car at 100mph+ knowing that everyone can see you! I was so concerned that I ordered red seats instead of black, didn't want it to look like a man's car.
