I really wasn't sure about it when I first seen mine, but the more I looked at it the better I liked it. I bought and I love it, it stands out and gets noticed alot. Looks even better with a nice looking set of wheels instead of the stock ones. I believe if you get it that you won't regret it, it just looks fast sitting still.

When I went shopping for a C5 in 2002, I had only two requirements...

1. It must be yellow.
2. It must be a 6spd.

Took 2 months of searching, but finally found the right one for me.

7 years have passed, still no regrets.

I'm proud to be "girly" if that's the case. I even painted my fog screens black to go with my blacked out lights.

I no longer own this car, but I never saw anything "girly" about it in five years of ownership!

I spent 2 hours a day online for over a year looking for a yellow vette and I'm glad I didn't settle for any other colors. This spring my brother and I looked at a 2004 CE Z06 but I didn't care for the dark blue. In fact at that point I knew I didn't want any dark colors because they just didn't seem right on a corvette. I mean you buy them to be noticed not to blend in right? I narrowed my choices to EB,TR or MY. I looked at a TR 6-speed coupe that I almost bought because it was local and I was fed up looking. In june I found a MY Z06 at a small dealer in rural Manitoba and 3 days later it was in my driveway. My brother came with me to pick it up and when he saw the car for the first time he said"that is the color to have without a doubt". Took the car to the lake and everyone on the beach just turned and stared...all this attention takes some getting used to but I think I will manage.

YELLOW (C6R-C5R) is NOT a girly color, pink is a girly color! YELLOW is #1

I love my Millennium Yellow Vette. I think it attracts more attention than ANY othe color Vette. Too bad you live far from me, I will be putting mine up for sale very shortly. It is immaculate! 2001,
Six speed, Z51, every option plus some mods. Only 16k miles.
Retiree owned, never been in rain or snow either.

Two best colors for C5 Z06 are the LeMans Blue(my personal favorite) and Millenium Yellow(second favorite). Since my GF's son-in-law had a Z16, I found my Yellow Z06 and never looked back. Also found out the that MY is also the fastest too.

My yellow vette draws attention wherever I go. Took forever to find one in my area, not many for sale here and when one did pop up it sold quick. I was at the dealership last month and they had a new red c6 on the lot, guess which car had the crowd of people around it, not the c6. Most people think it's a new car and love the color. I have had men, women, and kids from all age groups that just love the color. I have been in parking lots before where people would pull up beside me and block traffic just to comment on the car. I have a red c3 that gets a lot of attention but nothing like the yellow.

I've had always loved vettes but had never owned one...when the C5 first appeared in 97 I decided that I would eventuelly buy one...Then in 2000 the MY colour was available I just had to have it...IMO its the best colour, not to mention the fastest...lol...
