so did you reverse the position of the high and low beams? IIRC the german kit in its original form had the high beams on the outside and the lows on the inside, which looked really weird. looks like you've fixed that.
This configuration seems to fit the light opening and looks better to the/my eye!
I think smoked would look cool, if it didn't affect light output. Regarding material of the shroud, the simpler the better, IMO, since they're rarely exposed. Something smooth and glossy black would be my choice.

What if the shroud could be finished in flat black? That way they could be painted (a color of our choice) or left black?? I still like the idea of both lens and shroud combined...
He pretty much beat me to it. I doubt most people would even notice the difference (the price would be the real killer). If someone wants to spend $1k I'm sure we can find the best projector out there and make it happen.
We want something affordable, but these will be hand made and not a big production run overseas so we won't be offering them for $200 like the other vehicles you see.
Yes I did JW
You can't run them overseas because of production #'s right? I heard that you need 3000+ for a typical Chinese factory It would be nice if we can get 3000 owners to pay for these though

Wait, I thought a true-xenon projector is what will boost up the price and you were going to stick with halogen ones. From what I have read, it seems the only difference is the cutoff shield (unless you buy like real-expensive lens). At least the hella halogen vs xenon projectors are that way.
Maybe we're asking too much right now though
The product is still in development and I'm sure JW has plans.
Any way you could pull it out on the street (preferably a dark street) and do two shots.
One with a towel over the projector side and the other with a towel over the stock housing side?
I see a lot of pics of HID beam patterns, and they all light up the foreground well, I'm primarily interested in the throw distance and hopefully a little more light side to side (anti-deer-rays )
BTW, I have been looking for that pic you just posted :-) I was holding off on the HID's in stock housing but I don't know, they don't look like they are throwing light all over the place in the pic you showed (a good thing).

We'll get that for you soon. Right now our lights are out for the mold process.
