My bet is heated seats and then maybe a cutout switch. That or a killswitch that may no longer function (although an aftermarket kill switch like that is too damn obvious and easily defeated).
Sound like it could be kinda fun, who knows what you might have received extra. Odds are the previous owner took them out but who knows maybe you've got a set of cut outs...
If they're for heated seats you'll have the leads routing into the seat somewhere at the back of the seat. Should be easy to find. If not its anyones guess and you'll need to pull the console and trace them back.
former owner took the add-ons out and left the switches so the console didn't look ratty
I think you may be right. They are not cut-outs which would have been way cool. Also have no effect on the radio/cd/dvd/nav/backup camera/microwave oven/washer dryer/food proccessor/and who knows what else machine!
Removing the console and tracing the wires has me intimidated...I'm not the most handy tool in the box, or the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I'm definitly gonna try to track down former owner...the suspense is killing me!

It may seem intimidating but taking the radio bezel off is no big deal. Check out this site:
It is the instructions for changing the shift boot. Stop before doing anything to the shifter, just after the bezel is up. That site is excellent for other instructions too and they are a forum vendor.
