It is not for me personally...but I really like them! Well done guys! They look awesome. I have seen a couple of people afraid to make the leap vinyl wrap the car in matte black...
Well said my little friend. I get vicious over my car so dont play. I am Born & Raised in NOR CAL so I know what you mean. With me though what you see is what you get so I did'nt want you to think I took a spray can and went to town on my car in the garage. I appreciate the props you left on my profile and it's all good!

I like the flat/matte black, partially cause I'm into hot rods and such, and whatever rod I get next will be flat black with my own custom red and white pinstriping. I think on a corvette, some gloss black on it would make it look more finished, and would add a little more sportyness to it. Sorry, I didn't see your graphics in the pic, I'll look again.
I was in no way putting down any of these cars. They're beautiful even if they're purple with green stripes......
Oh, and as for the black harleys, my boyfriend has a Crossbones that's black denim (matte) with red and white pinstripes, and I think it looks sick as f***.
Here's a pretty cool matte C6... There's other really cool matte black cars on google, a bunch came up when I searched for "matte black corvette". There was a Maserati, Lambo, and more...

Does this picture look photoshopped or something? If you see inside the handle and stuff theres still yellow paint? Looks cool but I dont think this vette is actually matte?? Good detective work tho Jade!

I think those are hints of yellow left to accent the car?

I think you're right. But it's definitely a Wrap and not Paint. You can tell where the roof meets the door panel area. Looks cool though. Trippy picture
has anyone done a matte black wrap of there car?? i got a quote of $3800 to get my c5 done... and if u got it painted what does something like that run?? im on the east coast if anywone has any company they recommend.. o and the cars look bad a$$
Holy crap!
You might as well just get it painted! lol!
Besides, once you have a bada$$ matte black vette, why would you wanna take the wrap off?

I'm out here on the West and I can tell you a "Professional" Matte paint job will be anywhere from $4-5k give or take. I had a ton of detailed prep work and a good amount of body shaving done at the same time. My personal quote wouldn't be that accurate since I am sponsored by the body shop but it's not that much more to straight up paint your ride compared to that wrap quote you got....

Paint depends...if you paint over the stock (don't recommend) then you are looking at around a grand. If you want it done right...then they will strip the old and re-do and you are looking at around that same price for paint. Just depends on if you want permanant or not. You can probably find someone cheaper on the vinyl but you REALLY want to make sure they do a good job without imperfections. Like I said, I saw a Porche GTR with it done and you really had to inspect it to realize it was vinyl.
