[QUOTE=TR6speed;1571677202][QUOTE=Patches;1571673878]

This ia an organization that was statred in Florida. They claim to have members world wide. They are not a club, but just a group of Corvette owners.
OMG! I cannot believe this thread!

TR6speed, you are correct. Corvettes Anonymous began at a car show in Venice FL when trippleblack51 dramatically stood up among a group of people who had never met, hung his head and said:

My name is Pedro and I have a problem!

That was Sept. 2006. Corvettes Anonymous is not a club, nor is it in competition with any Corvette club or Internet Forum. We are:

An International Tongue-In-Cheek Support Association For Anyone With A Passion For Corvettes.

As I write this, there are over 700 Member/Patients in 45 states and seven other countries...........and it is ALL ABOUT THE JOKE!

We have our own Doktor, Chief Resident, and more than a few Nurse Goodbody(s).

There is even a "Couch" where you can share your problem with others ~ just as you have begun here.

By the way, admitting we are powerless over Corvetteism is the first step. There Is No Cure, But There Is Corvettes Anonymous!

While there are no official officers ~ yadda yadda yadda, I am the Chief Pharmacist. I have the authority to write prescriptions and ship "medications".

Our MASH unit recently made its third appearance at Carlisle, however, our on-line pharmacy is located at www.corvettesanonymous.com Click here.

Our next trip for the MASH unit will be the Corvette Expo in Sevierville TN 10/16-17/09. You cannot miss us because we are the first booth as you enter the exhibition hall.

After forwarding this thread to The Doktor, his response was that several of you are in dire need of therapy and medications.

[Keep coming back] It works, if you work it!

Hi I am Brett, and I AM NOT a vette-aholic, but I do constantly hear voices that keep yelling "buy, buy, buy.....mod, mod, mod". I do however believe my wife is a vette-aholic as she allows me to sepnd, spend, spend ........ but please don't tell her I actually take her up on the spend offer.

I swear, it's the voices. There they go again, they told me this morning to go have headers installed and while there to get a tune. I can't make them stop.

Default I think it's a true illness, mental anguish !

It starts out innocent enough, Lightbulbs, I just wanted to 'Upgrade' my lights in front there a few choice's if you stick with the stock wiring. Of course, I figured that I deal with that on the next pace. So i headed back to the rear. Now you change the stock bolbs, Tail light, turn signal and Back up. And of course, there's upgrades and they all come with warings. The higher the brightness, the hotter the bulb is going to light up. This isn't a problem unless the bulb is too close to the tail light lens, too hot, you've got a red syrup for lens, not bright enough then all your light look 'Blacked out' But of course, you didn't install a black out kit.

So here I am, I've got a small paper dish of new bulbs, I ordered a new license plate and back up lights with bigger diamonds, IE brighter surfaces) and I've got a plate of LCD bulbs. So once the 'New' license plate and backup combination from one of our supporting vendors and some time to absorbe all this, and Time to look up all these bulbs specs and try to figure out what's going to give me the brightest at the coolest temp. And that requires time and patience,

If you've got me down the road this far you have to know this is a Corvette Fever, or Corvette Migraine coming for me real soon. I'm sick, nobody ever waves at me at anymore when they pass me. But I'm still at it, Fixing or Corvette Tweaking, but I'm hooked, I'm going to a meeting now, bye ! This is an addiction, a mods addictions ! No matter how good it runs or looks, we're always find something to tweak !

My name is road pilot and I am very ill--so they say. I have
spent $25,000 on my pride n' joy and I am getting ready to
spend another $15,000 . The retail on my C-5 is $18,000.
That's the new math.
Please say a prayer for me and don't buy a vette.
This could happen to you!!
Crazy for speed.
Crazy for horsepower.
Crazy for vettes.
Just "plane" crazy!!!!!!!!!
