My name is Dustin. It started out as simply a purchase, then became a hobby. After time, the hobby started blossoming into a passion. The passion became an addiction. Now...well now the first thing I do when I wake up is find an excuse to drive my Vette. Before I go to sleep I find an excuse to drive my Vette. What's worse, is that the time in between is usually spent cleaning my Vette or scouring the 'forums for ideas and mods. Every Saturday, no matter what (except torrential rain) the Vette receives a five-hour detail of paint, interior, and engine bay. I blow of school work, social engagements, and **** to spend time with my Vette. I have a problem, and I am okay with that.....
As the old saying goes "what's the difference between a drunk and an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings"
I feel sorry for all you Corvette-aholics. I have two vette's to keep me occupied so, I don't have time for any meetings. Blissfully living the dream in total denial.
started with a c3. then bought a c5 to keep her company. Now, I can do long projects on the old vette, and still have a vette to drive to keep from going into detox. C5 stock, and DD. C3, has a few stock interior parts and the original frame still. That is about it.
I have something else to admit - I realized recently that I have another sign that this "disease" is progressing. I'm looking for a new residence and not as concerned with my own living space as I am with making sure I have at least a 2-car garage for the Vette.
Wow, I think I'm beyond help at this pt. Guess the only thing left to do is work on buying Vette #2 for a DD.
Hello. My name is Alex and I am Corvette-aholic. I cannot go a single day without driving the car. I am on Corvetteforum.com religiously and cannot stop planning "the next mod."

Alex, I've got it bad. I'm just thinking about changing the rear light bulbs cause I bought the rear tail ligt seals from Southerncarparts.com, But I can't leave it there. Oh no ! I have to investigate every single light bulb on the market trying to figure out what bulbs will give the biggest bang for the buck and light it up so it really stands out. Right now I have so far bought 10 light bulbs and I'm still not positive I have what i want. It all startes innocent enough, I got the tail light seals AND I'm going to in there anyway so . .
Now once I go for headers, new intake and a Corsa exhaust I'll have to take my sleeping bag with me so I can bed down with all the other corvette at the shop? What to do ? I don't smoke or drink, so I always justify my addiction by saying "Well i not smoking or drinking or gambling !" so I think I'll. . .
Hi. My name is John. I'm an addict. I spend waaaaaayyy too much time on the Corvetteforum and I tinker with my toy in the garage too much too.... Spent so much time there- i put in a small fridge for....beverages!!
Hi, I am Clif. I am an addict. I can't stop myself. First it was just a Vararam... but I needed more...so I got a ProCharger. You think that would satisfy me? NO! I then got a FAST 92.... Ported! Then, a Lingenfelter 90MM TB.... then a 90MM MAF.... then a 4L65E Stage 6 tranny... and it it gets worse fromt there. I need help!
Hi, I'm Bill, and I'm a Corvette-aholic. It started with selling two motorcycles to get my C5 in '07... then simple mods.. you know the type...catback exhaust, padded center console - color coded to match your interior, better headlights.. Then you start looking at other items... headers, cam, heads, intake, throttle body.. it's MADNESS.
